About Me:
Education - Ph.D; Ph.D; MBA - Associate professor, University of Minnesota Expertise: 22 years in the pharma industry; 25 years in Academia; Drug Discovery and development - Rare diseases. Founder of the Indian Organization for Rare Diseases, IORD, and in need of Diagnosis (INOD). Nord member since 2010. Active in raising awareness, advocating public policy, promoting diagnosis and treatment, and social activities related to rare diseases. NORD has been supportive in establishing IORD. Actively participated in Summit activities - panel discussions, presentations, and served as a section leader. Also, a member or executive member of RDI, EURORDIS, ICORD, APARDO, and country-specific patient organizations. Active contributor to IRDIRC and EJPRD. Our mission is "All rare disease patients and families should have equal opportunities, privileges and rights as those of patients with common diseases"
